![]() Sekiro leaves with the divine child to go West to the home of the dragon. Only Emma is alive at the end of the game. Genichiro is dead, Isshini is dead, Owl is dead. I dont really understand this post at all. But we'll make something better as we move on and change." If you don't follow buddhist philosophy, Basically this is saying "Hey. And sekiro changes his life to either live with, defend, or just assist in a new life with the Divine Child. This leaves Genichiro and Isshini to defend their land by direct means (If they work or not, who knows) Owl is left without his power and most likely continues to serve his own will. So the divine child absorbs Kuro, and destroys the chance for more people to be taken by immortality. There isn't any 'best' ending, The Return is just apart of a more 'positive' ending. and 'absolute power, curropts absolutely" The main issue/plot in Sekiro, is that Kuro's life and blood, give immortality to people. Originally posted by Kiroshi:if you mean the "Return" ending (Dragon's Homecoming) Where Purification and Immortal Severance are bittersweet endings (and Shura is the bad ending), Return is the set-up for a true happy ending to manifest. It also allows the chance of Kuro being reborn, thus allowing him and Wolf to reunite. The Return ending ensures that most of the pivotal characters are alive and ready to be in a sequel. Wolf and the Divine Child (now carrying Kuro) set off on a journey to ensure that this power is returned to its home and can never be used to corrupt men again. In the Return ending, Kuro's soul is absorbed into the Divine Child and Wolf lives. Emma and Kuro (and presumably the Divine Child) are relatively well-off and have the possibility of a better future. Purification - Kuro's wish is fulfilled but Wolf dies in order to give Kuro a chance at a normal life. Immortal Severance - Kuro's wish is fulfilled but he dies and Wolf is left with no purpose. Shura - Basically everyone dies, Wolf becomes an evil demon who slaughters people endlessly after having betrayed Kuro. Because it's the best possible outcome for all characters involved.
